Washing

It is essential that you only use the correct shampoo for your extensions to maintain the condition, colour and make them last a lot longer!

  • Wash your hair 2-3 times a week ( do not wash too much as this may dry out your extensions)

  • When washing, wash twice with shampoo and get a good lather, ensuring you get in between rows & bonds.

  • Gently massage in between and around the bonds, but be careful not to rub too vigorously and disturb the bonds or create matting

  • It's best to wash your hair in the shower, or use a jug and pour down the hair

Our specialist range of hair extension products are the best way to protect your Hair Extensions & keep them in great condition for longer.

Conditioning

Using the correct conditioner will make drying, brushing & styling your hair extensions so much easier.

  • Only apply conditioners mid to ends

  • Start TREATMENT SUNDAYS and try our Extension Boost to keep your hair in the best condition

  • Our conditioner is designed to keep hair extensions looking and feeling soft and healthy

Drying & Styling

Drying is crucial to preventing matting and drying out of your new hair.

  • ALWAYS blow dry your hair thoroughly

  • NEVER go to bed with wet hair

  • Use a heat protection spray

  • Always section your hair start from the bottom row up.

  • Try to reduce heat as much as possible, dropping the heat will reduce split ends.

  • It's important to use a good quality argan oil. Use it on an night, by morning your hair will be soft

  • Always plait your hair in a loose before bed to avoid knotting or rubbing.

Brushing

Using the correct brush is an important part of your routine and will be safer for your extensions.

  • Hold your hair at the root to prevent tugging when brushing

  • Always start at the bottom of the hair and work your way up

  • Brush from the root in between the rows of your extensions to avoid matting

  • Use scrunchies instead of hair elastics to avoid damage

  • I recommend the WETBRUSH which is available in salon. - these are AMAZING!

  • Ask us for advice before purchasing any new brushes to be sure they won't damage your hair.

Products

We recommend only using products that are specifically designed for hair extensions as other types may cause damage to the bond or hair itself. It is always best to use the recommended aftercare products, such as our Aftercare Range.
